Alex Fullick has been consulting with major Canadian organizations to initiate and manage customized Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs for over 15 years. He is the Founder and Managing Director of StoneRoad, a consulting and training firm specializing in BCM. Alex is routinely asked to speak at various global BCM conferences such as: "BCM Symposium 2009" London, UK and "Continuity Insights Conference" Phoenix, AZ and will be presenting at the 2010 World Conference on Disaster Management (WCDM) in Toronto (June 6-9).
Alex's recent book, "Heads in the Sand", is a helpful manual with tips and advice for hesitant companies who want to develop a BCM program in order to quickly respond to disasters, but don’t know where to start, or have fears about launching such a multi-faceted program. It also provides insight for companies that have established BCM programs, but want to know why their program isn’t as successful as it could be.
Alex is a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), earned his Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) status with the Disaster Recovery Institute, and also has his Certified Business Resiliency Auditor (CBRA) designation.
Alex resides in Guelph, Ontario and is currently working on his next book, once again tackling the BCM realm.
